FLYERS “Fun Loving Youth En-Route to Success” Summer Program

At FLYERS, we make summer camp exciting and engaging by incorporating as many fun theme-related activities as we can. In addition to a themed field trip each week, your child can take advantage of activities in various areas such as science and nature, dramatic and creative play, arts and crafts and organized games all while enhancing their social skills, physical activity level and most importantly having fun! Pick and choose as many sessions as you want.

Campers need to arrive no later than 9:30am. Space is limited at each summer site. All children who attend the day of the field trip will be required to go on the field trip; no children will be left behind at the site. We will have four locations this summer: Springfield Elementary, Pleasant Knoll Elementary, Doby's Bridge Elementary and Tega Cay Elementary.

Week 3 – Mad Science – June 12-16
Week 4 – Buggin' Out – June 19-23
Week 5 – Radical Recycling – June 26-30
Week 6 – Party in the USA – July 3-7*
Week 7 – Artful Antics – July 10-14
Week 8 – Super FLYERS – July 17-21
Week 9 – Tropical Paradise – July 24-28
Week 10 – Messy Olympics – July 31-Aug 4
Week 11 – Summer Cool Down – August 7- 10* 
*May 29th, July 4th, & August 11th not in session

Hours of Operation

The weekly FLYERS summer camps run weekdays 7 am until 6 pm. Campers must be dropped off no later than 9:30 am.

Program Fees

Complex/Greenway Members $145/week
Non-Members $160/week
Sibling Discount $14/week

A $50 deposit is required for each desired summer camp session. The deposit is applied towards the total rate and is non-refundable. Remaining weekly balances need to be paid seven days in advance for each session. Price includes field trip expenses.

We encourage the use of our convenient auto draft program for payments.  An auto draft authorization must be filled out.  You can find a copy of this form in the below attachments or you can fill one out at the recreation complex upon registration.  

Payment Methods

Convenient automatic weekly credit card payments are available (VISA, MC, Discover).

Cash, checks and debit/credit cards accepted. If paying by check, please write child’s name and site location and make payable to Leroy Springs & Company.There is a $30 fee on all returned checks.

Payment Guidelines

FLYERS program fees are required a week prior to the start of the camp and payments must be made at the Recreation Complex.

Children of families with outstanding balances will not be able to attend the FLYERS program until all fees owed to the Anne Springs Close Greenway and Recreation Complex are paid-in-full.

Please print and bring the completed 2017 Summer Registration Packet below to the Recreation Complex at 971 Tom Hall Road to register your child.
