Earth Day Celebration!

Apr 16 , 2016

Join us for our annual Earth Day Celebration on the Greenway on Saturday, April 16th. Festivities will kick off with an opening ceremony at 10a.m. near the Dairy Barn. Other events and activities will include border collie demonstrations, cane pole fishing, canoeing & kayaking, face painting, geocaching, lead-line horse rides and farm animals.

Enjoy free entry and activities for all ages from hiking and kayaking to horseback rides, in addition to new events scheduled for this year including a Dog Park Open House from 10am - 2pm. More than 3,000 visitors are expected throughout the day.

The "Recycled Runway" Competition seeks to promote the use of recycled, reuseable and renewable materials in creative and artistic ways, while raising environmental and waste awareness among the entrants and those who view the costumes. This year's theme is Environmental Advocacy. Showcase in your costume what you care most about in the environment.
