Trail Status

Nestled amid beautiful lakes and hardwood forests, the Anne Springs Close Greenway's a nature preserve more than twice the size of Central Park. Minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC, its 2,100 acres serve as a natural buffer from urban development and provides a wide-open space for countless activities.

Get Close to Nature

There are countless ways to enjoy nature at the Greenway! Hike, run or bike our 40 miles of trails. Kayak, paddle board or fish in one of our lakes and ponds. Ride a horse, or try some yoga with a goat.

Featured Event

April is Love the Greenway Month

What if these trees were rooftops? What if these trails never existed? What if this land was paved over? What if wildlife had nowhere to go?

Celebrate sunshine, 2,100 acres of protected land and the love you have for the Anne Springs Close Greenway throughout April! While the peach trees are popping with color, the wildflowers are starting to bloom and the trees are showing off their vibrant green, we hope you will join us in celebrating Love the Greenway Month. Choose your own adventure through self-guided hikes and activities, attend the extensive Earth Day Celebration or sign up for one of our many outdoor education and recreation programs that will get you close to nature this month.
