Trail Status

Nestled amid beautiful lakes and hardwood forests, the Anne Springs Close Greenway's a nature preserve more than twice the size of Central Park. Minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC, its 2,100 acres serve as a natural buffer from urban development and provides a wide-open space for countless activities.

Get Close to Nature

There are countless ways to enjoy nature at the Greenway! Hike, run or bike our 40 miles of trails. Kayak, paddle board or fish in one of our lakes and ponds. Ride a horse, or try some yoga with a goat.

Featured Event

Great American Campout

Did someone say, “S’mores?” The National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Campout unites campers across the country, and the Anne Springs Close Greenway will host a local group campout event to celebrate the occasion on Saturday, June 22.

Greenway staff will have guided activities, such as fishing, archery, kayaking, guided mountain bike rides and themed night hikes. In the morning, enjoy Rise and Shine Yoga for adults or nature-themed yoga for kids. Join us for this national night under the stars at the Bob Reid Field Trial Barn at the Adventure Road Entrance!
