42nd annual Springmaid Trail Race Continues a Storied Tradition at the Anne Springs Close Greenway
Nothing quite says fall like trail running in the crisp morning air, leaves crunching under your feet on a beautiful single track. Join in for the popular 5K & Dog Jog (top pups get medals) or take on our 10K or Half Marathon. The storied 42-year tradition of the Springmaid races continues to benefit a more recent addition to the Greenway, the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park, a 12-acre dog park located at the Anne Springs Close Greenway that opened in May 2015. Register by October 10th to be guaranteed a Recover Brands long-sleeved t-shirt.
More than 500 runners are expected at this year’s race on November 6th, starting and ending at the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park. Race participants and spectators are invited to visit the 12-acre dog park during race day to see what this race supports. Dogs are welcome inside the park with proof of spay/neuter and vaccination records, which include Bordetella, rabies and DHPP vaccinations.
Packet pick-up will occur on Wednesday, November 3rd and Friday, November 5th at the Greenway Gateway, Lake Haigler Entrance, 2573 Lake Haigler Drive, Fort Mill. The race will take place on November 6th at Anne Springs Close Greenway, Adventure Road Entrance, 104 Adventure Road, Fort Mill.
