Celebrate fall every weekend in October beginning Saturday, September 30th with the Fall Frolic on the Anne Springs Close Greenway, featuring a myriad of fall festival fun from wagon rides and a homegrown pumpkin patch to the kiddie corn maze. Now in its eighth year, the festival’s most popular activities will be back in action, including the new Greenway petting zoo, pedal carts, horse rides, face painting, kayaking and more.
Fall Frolic on the Greenway runs Saturdays and Sundays, September 30th through October 29th. Pricing is $10 per person for Greenway members and $12 for non-members and includes wagon rides, corn maze, petting zoo, pedal carts and other kid-focused activities. Seniors (60 and older) and active military personnel are $6 and children four and under get in free. Groups of 15 or more receive a group rate of $10 per person. Lead-line horse rides and kayaking will be available at $5 per ride. Horse rides are available on Saturday 11a.m. to 3p.m. and Sunday 1p.m. to 4p.m. Major credit cards and cash will be accepted at the gate. Food trucks and beverage vendors will be on hand each weekend selling a variety of options. Special event parking is $5 per car.
Festivities are centered at the Greenway’s Nature Center Entrance, 2573 Lake Haigler Drive, Fort Mill. This event is family-friendly and is tobacco-free. For information, please call 803-547-4575.
