Horseback Riding 

Group Lessons

Offered throughout Spring and Fall, Group Lessons teach riders about horse care and horsemanship, including how to groom, bridle, saddle and basic riding techniques in a four-week lesson program. Classes for children 8 and older are available March to May and September through October on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm or 5:15-6:15pm. Classes for adults are held on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm.

Members $75, Non-Members $85

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are offered to anyone ages 8 to adult after the completion of at least one session of group lessons. Private lessons include English Riding discipline, knowledge about Tennessee Walking Horse gaits and increasingly difficult riding tasks for each progressing rider.

The lessons are taught by one of the Horse Barn instructors at a cost of $45 per hour. Limited availability.

Semi-Private Lessons  

Semi Private Lessons will be offered to anyone ages 8 to adult after the completion of at least one session of group lessons. Semi Private Lessons will include both English and Western riding disciplines.

The lessons will be taught by one of the Horse Barn instructors at a cost of $40 per hour. There may be up to 5 children in each lesson. Limited availability.
