Why Become an Ambassador
Welcome to the trail! As a Race Ambassador, your job is to inspire others to get close to nature through low-impact recreation and to promote the Greenway's incredible trail races!Â
Runners and hikers are invited to apply to be an Ambassador for either a single race or for the entire 2025 Race Series (four races).Â
Three of the four races in the Anne Springs Close Greenway race series take place on the Greenway's network of trails. Parking is easy, people are friendly, and the trails are top-notch.
Ambassadors will receive:
Free registration fee for one race in the series.
a 25% off promo code to share with friends, followers, community, etc.
For every 10 registrants who uses your unique Race Ambassador promo code, you will receive a free race entry for an additional Greenway race (for yourself or to gift to someone else).
How to Apply & Qualifications
To apply, submit the form below before 11:59pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 to apply for 2025 races. Ambassadors will be announced December 2, 2024.
Your job is to inspire! Training for your first 5K? Share your journey in a Reel! Tackling your tenth trail half marathon? Spread single-track love on Instagram! No social media accounts? No problem! Let us know how you will promote the races in your own, unique way.
The Greenway will consider all levels of running experience, from beginners to ultra marathoners; however, please only apply if your doctor approves.
Ambassadors Requirements
If selected to be a 2025 Race Ambassador, you are committing to:
Tag Anne Springs Close Greenway on Facebook (@ASCGreenway) and/or Instagram (@ASCGreenway) in at least three social media posts prior to the applicable race, and one post day-of the race. Posts should be solely focused on race promotion, not as a cross-promotion of other brands you may be affiliated with.
If you are not active on social media, Ambassadors should plan to promote the races in their own, unique way with corresponding impact.
Ambassadors will be required to provide links, screenshots or other applicable evidence of their promotion.
Ambassadors are not required to be a member of Anne Springs Close Greenway.

A full-blown recreation celebration, Blue Star Blitz features trail running races, mountain bike races, a craft beer blitz, and more. More details and registration will be announced November 1.

Run, camp, and jam in the mountains for Springmaid Splash! The Greenway will team up with its sister property, Springmaid Mountain, for this mountain running classic! Field camping is included for all participants. More details and registration will be announced November 1.

'Whooooo' is in for the night-time trail race? Night Owl 5k is a fun, family-friendly race and a rare opportunity to explore the Greenway's trails after dark. Run or walk our trails, roast marshmallows at our fire pits and order dinner and drinks at the Gateway Canteen. More details and registration will be announced November 1.

Springmaid Trail Race returns for everyone's favorite fall race. Crunching leaves, gorgeous trails, and crisp temperatures await! Enjoy the half marathon, 10K or 5K & Dog Jog. Pups give it two paws up! More details and registration will be announced November 1.
