The Anne Springs Close Greenway℠ is honored to recognize the generous contributions from Bartels Construction Solutions (BCS). As a Corporate Trailblazer and event sponsor, BCS has generously contributed a total of $27,500 over the past two years, making a lasting impact on the Greenway’s vision to preserve a place for people to celebrate and experience nature for generations to come.

One of the highlights of this partnership has been BCS’s support of the Fore the Bridge Golf Tournament at Fort Mill Golf Club. This annual tournament benefits the Anne Springs Close Bridge Program, a tiered financial assistance initiative that ensures all community members have access to the Greenway’s programs, events and recreational opportunities, regardless of financial barriers.

As a company that values employee engagement and community involvement, Bartels Construction Solutions actively encourages its staff to take advantage of the Greenway’s unique offerings. With a diverse workforce, BCS appreciates the opportunities the Greenway provides for relaxation, team-building and outdoor recreation. BCS employees have enjoyed numerous events on the Greenway, from quarterly meetings to a holiday party at the Bob Reid Field Trial Barn.

In addition to their generous financial contributions and employee involvement, BCS has also lent their professional expertise to the Greenway. Most recently, they completed a renovation of the historic Palmer House, which originally served as the dairy barn manager’s residence, and now functions as office space for Greenway staff.

Reflecting on their involvement with the Greenway, Matt Bartels, BCS Owner and President, stated, “BCS proudly supports the Anne Springs Close Greenway and the Fore the Bridge Golf Tournament.
