Anne Springs Close Greenway Closed

Dear members and guests,

As the Coronavirus threat has developed over the last several weeks, we have taken a multitude of steps to protect the health and wellness of our staff and visitors. We appreciate your support of our operations as we have changed our procedures to ensure the safety of all.

In accordance with the state mandate for all non-essential businesses to close, we have decided to close the Anne Springs Close Greenway, effective end of day on Friday, April 3, 2020, until the threat of COVID-19 has passed. This was a very difficult decision, but one that is prudent and necessary. Over the past several weeks, we have welcomed many new faces to the Greenway and we are appreciative of your visits with us. We know that the Greenway has been a respite for you during this stressful time, as so many of you have reached out to show your support. Ultimately, nothing is more important than the safety and well being of our employees and visitors. That’s why we must close the Greenway now and do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Our Natural Resource and Maintenance teams will continue to be active on the Greenway, but the Mary Warner Mack dog park, the Greenway Gateway, the horse barn, and all entrances, trails and Greenway facilities will be closed until further notice. This is in accordance with the state’s latest guidelines for reducing the community impact of COVID-19. We will reopen as soon as it is safe and prudent to do so based on local and state health and government guidelines and regulations.

We appreciate and value your support of the Greenway during these uncertain times and we hope that you will continue your membership. If you would like to suspend your member billing, please email us at membership@ascgreenway.org. If you have any changes to your account information while we are closed, please contact Guest Services via email at info@ascgreenway.org.

The Greenway has been an integral part of this community for 25 years, and closing it to our members and visitors is an unprecedented and painful action. However, we know this is the right thing to do to ensure the safety of our staff, members and visitors. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, and we look forward to reopening as soon as the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic has passed.
