Eagle Scout Projects

Over 60 Eagle Scout projects have been completed on the Greenway since 2000. Per Eagle Scout rules, projects must benefit the community and teach leadership skills. Examples of past projects have included rerouting eroded trail systems, building nesting boxes for wood ducks around fishing ponds and helping to build and repair run-in horse shelters. Each scout must come up with a project concept and present it to the Eagle Board for approval before presenting his idea to Greenway staff.
