This class is designed for first time and beginner kayakers and will meet at the kayak launch at Lake Haigler. We will start by covering appropriate gear for kayaking, how to choose a safe kayaking location based on your ability and how to safely get in and out of your kayak. Once we’re out on the water, we will cover basic paddling techniques.

• Ages: Ages 12 and up. (All participants under 18 must have a guardian stay on property during the program and provide a cell phone number upon arrival.)
• Cost: $34 per person, 20% discount for Greenway Members

Programs are rain or shine, except for severe weather. If we cancel due to severe weather, we will provide a full refund. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, we will provide a refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hour notice, you will not be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule.
