Beginner Yoga Series

Yoga for Beginners is a 5-week series designed to help you learn the foundations of a typical yoga class while gaining experience in a group yoga setting. This series is for you if you are brand new to yoga or transitioning from a home practice into a group setting. You will also find this series valuable if you are interested in breaking down some of the most common yoga postures and sequences to focus on safe body alignment and modifications.
Each week you can expect to learn 3 to 5 foundational yoga postures plus sequencing, including safe body alignment and modifications. We will build week by week, and by the final session of the series you will be ready for a full 60-minute yoga class! Typical yoga class etiquette will also be covered and there will be time for questions to ensure you feel confident carrying your yoga practice forward!
