Join the Greenway Birding Club for a visit to Cowan’s Ford Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Located at 2329 Neck Road in Huntersville, NC., this IBA (Important Bird Area) is well known as a great birding site. Our outing will be in conjunction with the annual ‘Great Backyard Bird Count.’ We will meet in the Lake Haigler parking lot at the Greenway at 8a and carpool or leave together from there. Dress accordingly and binoculars are advised. Please be aware that there are no restrooms in the immediate area. Hope to see you there!
