Catawba Riverkeeper Riversweep on the Greenway

In coordination with Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation, the Greenway will be sweeping our section of the Steele Creek watershed for litter as part of the larger Catawaba Riversweep event. The Catawba Riversweep is a community cleanup of the rivers, lakes, and streams of the Catawba-Wateree River Basin. Join your friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens to help clean your waterways! The Anne Springs Close Greenway is a host site for this event.
To volunteer, follow link and choose “Catawba Below Lake Wylie – Anne Springs Close Greenway”. Due to Covid-19, we will only be able to host 60 volunteers at this event and will practice proper social distancing while cleaning up.
Participants who register before September 18 will be guaranteed an event t-shirt!
