Join us on guided hikes that combine exploration and learning! Each Educational Hike features a new conservation or environmental theme—like native plants, trail upkeep or the importance of clean water—helping you see familiar trails with fresh eyes. These hikes are relaxed, beginner-friendly and a great way to connect with nature and others while learning something new. Please wear closed-toed, secure shoes and bring a water bottle.

This Educational Hike is part of our Explorer Series — a collection of beginner-friendly recreation programs designed to help you explore the outdoors, learn new skills and connect with others. Whether you’re trying an activity for the first time or simply looking for a fun, organized way to spend time in nature, the Explorer Series offers something for everyone.

Pick up your 2026 Explorer Series Punch Card at the first program you attend and start your adventure! Attend at least six programs throughout the year to earn an exclusive 2026 Explorer Series Swag!

Programs are rain or shine, except for severe weather. If we cancel due to severe weather, we will provide a full refund. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, we will provide a refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hour notice, you will not be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule.
