Want to try camping but don’t have the time to attend the intensive trainings? Come out to the Anne Springs Close Greenway and let our Outdoor Programs Team be your experienced helpers for the night. Enjoy a night of fun around the fire and trying out different activities. We will have several stations set up such as fire starting, s’mores, reptiles, and outdoor art for you to try out as well as scavenger hunts and fishing equipment on hand for you to use. You can also use this time to complete some other outdoor badge requirements.

Check in is between 5-7p on Friday. Dinner is not provided but you are welcome to eat beforehand, grab dinner at the Canteen, or bring your own food to roast over the fires that we will have going. After dinner it’s time to rotate through stations or work with your troop on other badges. As the night wraps up we will all gather to go on guided night hikes on the surrounding trails. Checkout is 10a Saturday morning. The Canteen will provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice for all campers to help get you morning started!

Please note this campout is for Girl Scouts whether individual or in a troop. All girls must be accompanied by either a parent or troop leader. So get your tent and sleeping bag and get ready for a night of adventure and fun!
