Crandall Bowles Children’s Farm Grand Opening
April 20
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Crandall Bowles Children’s Farm on Saturday, April 20! This new flagship destination promises an unforgettable blend of education and adventure for animal-lovers of all ages. The Children’s Farm honors the Greenway’s mission by providing opportunities for daily interpretation and demonstrations on animal habitat, South Carolina farming and conservation of natural resources in an immersive and enriching environment.
Expanding on the Greenway’s beloved barnyard petting zoo, the Children’s Farm features a beautiful pastoral habitat, scenic half-mile loop trail, gathering lawn, educational garden and an open-air learning pavilion. Get ready to discover and connect with a variety of animals, including horses, alpacas, cattle, goats, rabbits and many more!
Admission to the Greenway, including the Crandall Bowles Children’s Farm, is FREE* to the public for our Earth Day Celebration April 19-21. Plus, on Opening Day (April 20), the first 500 visitors will receive free animal feed cups so you can really get up close and personal with the Children’s Farm residents.
