Any good hiker loves trees, right? They provide shade and animal habitats while helping to prevent trail erosion. In fact, trees are an important part of any forest ecosystem, including Anne Springs Close Greenway. But could you identify five native trees on the Greenway? Our Master Naturalist guide will help us practice our Tree ID skills on a fun family-oriented hike that is appropriate for all ages but due to uneven terrain, strollers are not recommended. We will be stopping frequently along the way to identify a variety of trees using an illustrated tree ID guide.
