Join the Greenway Hiking Club for one of their many hikes throughout the Greenway!  It’s a great way to learn the property and meet new friends!

Hiking Club hikes are free for members and daily admissions fees apply to non-members Monday-Thursday.

Note the Greenway is open to members only Friday-Sunday.

Wednesday, 8/4 – 6 pm. Meet at the Gateway (Lake Haigler entrance).  Start with the 2 mile Lake Haigler loop hike and end at the Gateway.  Then will add another mile.

Thursday, 8/5 – 4:30 pm from the Dairy Barn, Runners Loop approx 3.1 miles.  Last concert for the summer, U-Phonik.

Sunday, 8/8 – 11 am.  Meet at the Blue Star entrance trailhead (behind the Y Complex on Tom Hall St).  Approx 5 miles.

Monday, 8/9 – 6 pm. Greenway Stables parking lot. Approx 2.5 miles.

Monday, 8/23 – 6 pm. Adventure Rd entrance, first parking lot.  Start with a 2 mile hike that ends at the parking lot. Then will hike another mile.

Tuesday, 8/24 – 6 pm.  Meet at the Blue Star entrance trailhead (behind the Y Complex on Tom Hall St).  Approx 3-4 miles.

Thursday, 8/26 –  6 pm. Meet at the Gateway (Lake Haigler entrance). Approx 3.2 miles.

Saturday, 8/28 – 8 am.  Mineral Springs Greenway (Trailhead Location: 6214 McNeely Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173).  Tanya is leading the approx. 5 mile hike.  Natural surface trail and boardwalk, rated easy.  Plan to eat at Stacks Kitchen afterwards.

Sunday, 8/29 – 11 am.  Greenway Stables parking lot. Approx. 5 miles.

Tuesday, 8/31 – 6 pm.  Dairy Barn entrance, approx. 3.1 miles.
