Meet at the Kayak Launch for an introduction to kayaking. We will discuss appropriate gear for kayaking, how to choose a safe kayaking location based on your ability and how to safely enter and exit your boat. Once we’re out on the water, we will cover some basic paddling technique, as well as how to move forward, turn, stop and reverse.

Ages: Ages 8 and older. Children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/Guardians must stay on property throughout the program and provide a cell phone number upon arrival.

Cost: $32 per person, members receive a 20% discount
