This class is designed for beginners and will meet at the kayak launch at Lake Haigler. We will start by covering appropriate gear for kayaking, how to choose a safe kayaking location based on your ability and how to safely get in and out of your kayak. Once we’re out on the water, we will cover basic paddling techniques

• Ages: Ages 8 and older. Children ages 8-12 must be accompanied on the water by an adult. (All participants under 18 must have a guardian stay on property during the program and provide a cell phone number upon arrival.)
• Cost: $34 per person, 20% discount for members

Programs are rain or shine, except for severe weather. If we cancel due to severe weather, we will provide a full refund. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, we will provide a refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hour notice, you will not be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule.
