This fun, engaging class introduces kids to the sport of kayaking! We will meet at the Kayak Launch and fit everyone with appropriate gear. We will discuss how to choose a safe kayaking location based on your ability, demonstrate how to maneuver safely and how to enter and exit the boat. Once we’re out on the water, we will cover some basic paddling techniques and make sure paddlers feel comfortable with fun kayak activities. Water bottle and close toed shoes required.

Ages: Participants must be between 8 and 15 yr. Parents/Guardians must stay on property throughout the program and provide a cell phone number upon arrival.

Cost: $32 per person, members get a 20% discount
