National Trails Day
June 7, 2025
Event Details
Let’s hit the trails! Enjoy free entry to the Anne Springs Close Greenway as part of the American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day. In honor of our 30th anniversary this year, help us log enough miles to make 30 laps around all of the Greenway’s trails!
Find estimated mileage by multiplying the number in your group (including dogs and horses) by the mileage of the trail(s) you hiked/biked/rode. You may also count the number of paddling loops you completed on Lake Haigler.
Everyone receives free entrance to the Greenway on National Trails Day to enjoy time in nature. To support our conservation efforts, nonmembers pay a $5 parking fee per car. If you enjoy your visit, please consider membership.
Become a Member
Non-members of the Greenway who track their mileage will receive a discount of $1 off an annual membership (family or individual) per mile hiked, up to $12 off.
- For a family membership, all members of your group can add their miles together to use for the discount for a family annual membership.
- Only individual miles hiked can be applied to an individual annual membership.
- Discount must be redeemed in person (at the Greenway Gateway) on National Trails Day (June 7, 2025)
- Proof of miles is required via any mileage tracking app (Apple Fitness, Google Fit, Strava, All Trails, etc.)
