
National Trails Day

Let’s hit the trails! Enjoy free entry to the Anne Springs Close Greenway as part of the American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day. If you enjoy your visit, please consider membership.
Scheduled Activities
- 7am: Trails open!
- 8am: Guided hike on Blue Star Trail led by the Greenway Hiking Club
- Starting at the Farm & Stables Entrance
- If you want to hike the entirety of Blue Star Trail, please park at the Blue Star Entrance by 7:30am to shuttle over to the Farm & Stables Entrance.
- 9am: Trailkeeper 101 Workshop (registration required)
- 9am-6pm: Kayak Rentals (registration required)
- 10am-2pm: Visit Wayfinders at the Lake Haiger, Dairy Barn, Adventure Road, and Farm & Stables Entrances for suggested hikes.
- 10am-4pm: Historic cabins open with Docents
- 6-9pm: Live Music at the Greenway Canteen

- Haigler Loop (from the parking lot and back): 2 miles
- Greenway Gateway to Steele Creek Swinging Bridge and back: 0.5 miles
- Founders Dairy Barn to Steele Creek Swinging Bridge and back: 1.5 miles
- Archers Loop: 1.7 miles
