Explore the Greenway trails after dark with our Night Owl 5K!
The excitement of competition paired with the thrill of the trails at night make our Night Owl 5K a race to remember! NEW in 2024Â – This year, we are pairing the Night Owl race with the October Campout. Race registration comes with field camping for 1 person on Friday night. If you have others camping with you or would like to stay Saturday night as well, you can add those to your registration.
Night Owl 5K starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance, so participants and spectators may order food and drinks from the Gateway Canteen, roast marshmallows at the firepits, enjoy live music, shop for gear and memberships in the visitor center and have an all-around great experience!
Participants must use flashlights, headlamps or other forms of lighting to ensure safe navigation on the trails.
