The excitement of competition paired with the thrill of the trails at night make our Night Owl 5K a race to remember! Come dressed in your favorite winter pajamas or festive holiday outfit – a prize will be given for the top 3 best-dressed! The Night Owl 5K starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance, so participants and spectators may order food and drinks from the restaurant, Greenway Canteen, shop for gear and memberships in the visitor center and enjoy popular Greenway trails!

Want the excitement of the 5K without being timed? Choose the 5K Hike Challenge, offering the same opportunity without the pressure of the clock. For a shorter route, our Fun Run/Walk is a 1-mile, untimed option. Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a finisher’s prize at the finish line to celebrate their achievement.

Once again, the Night Owl 5K will be paired with our Friday night campout. Race registration comes with complimentary field camping for one person. If you have others camping with you, you can add those at registration.
Please note: unlike the 5K, the Fun Run/Walk registration does not include free/discounted camping.
The campout is Friday night only.

Participants must use flashlights, headlamps or other forms of lighting to ensure safe navigation on the trails.
