Spring on the Greenway HikeApr 28 , 2019
In Spring, the landscape erupts with new growth. Trees are beginning to bud and our beloved wildflowers are starting to show. We start to see their distinctive foliage, which helps us to identify them.
We will start out from the Adventure Center and look for the signs of Spring by identifying trees and flowers along the way. We will also explore the prairie landscape, which in the past has been home to bison, the Catawba Indian Nation, and early pioneers.
Hikers will meet at the Adventure Road entrance parking lot. Hike will be approximately 1.5 miles in length. Free for Greenway members. $5 daily visitor fee applies to non-members.
