Earth Day Celebration

Join us for our annual Earth Day Celebration on the Greenway on Saturday, April 27 from 11:00m-3:00pm. Events and activities include vendor exhibits, border collie demonstrations, cane pole fishing, canoeing & kayaking, face painting, lead-line horse rides and farm animals. 

Enjoy FREE entry to the Greenway during the event and activities for all ages from hiking and kayaking to horseback rides. 

The Earth Day Celebration Showcase seeks to promote the use of recycled, reuseable and renewable materials in creative and artistic ways, while raising environmental and waste awareness among entrants and spectators. Participate in the Recyled Fashion Show, Recylcled Art Show or Earth Day Poetry Reading.

There will be water refill stations for guests to use. Just Water will be available for purchase at this event.  We are proud to offer Just Water, as their sourcing and packaging practices align with mission of the Anne Springs Close Greenway.

Please keep in mind that some activities and exhibitors accept cash only. There is no parking or entry fee for the Earth Day Celebration, but we encourage you to carpool. Dogs on leash are welcome on the Greenway.
