Join us for our annual Earth Day Celebration on the Greenway on Saturday, April 22nd. Festivities will kick off with an opening ceremony at 10a.m. near the Dairy Barn. Other events and activities will include border collie demonstrations, cane pole fishing, canoeing & kayaking, face painting, lead-line horse rides and farm animals. 

Enjoy free entry to the Greenway during the event and activities for all ages from hiking and kayaking to horseback rides, in addition to a Dog Park Open House from 10am - 2pm.

The "Recycled Runway" Competition seeks to promote the use of recycled, reuseable and renewable materials in creative and artistic ways, while raising environmental and waste awareness among the entrants and those who view the costumes. This year's theme is Endangered Animals! Click here to sign up.

Over two dozen vendor exhibits including the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, Nation Ford FFA, Dirt Dauber Deb’s Mobile Gem Mine, Carolina Thread Trail, Keep York County Beautiful, Lotus Pilates & BodyWorks, Cabela’s, Nation Ford Land Trust & York County Forever, Museum of York County, York Electric Cooperative, Inc., Ragnar Relay, Catawba Master Naturalist Association, Greenway Education Team and FLYERS Program, Nation Ford High School, Greenway Birding Club, Riverview Elementary Environmental Club and more.
