The Great American Campout

Enjoy the Great American Campout celebration on the Greenway! We'll have fun activities for all ages including a guided family-friendly hike, fort building, gaga ball, field games kayaking (7+), fishing, archery (7+) self-guided scavenger hunt hike, and geocaching/orienteering. We'll finish the evening with a hot dog dinner (with all the fixin's), s'mores, songs and stories under the stars!

4:30-7:30p: Activities – Hiking, Kayaking (ages 7 & up), Fishing, Fort Building, Gaga Ball, Archery (ages 7 & up), Self-directed Scavenger Hunt, Geocaching
5:30 - 8p: Hot Dog Dinner @ Field Trial Barn – come anytime during this time frame
8-9p: S’mores, Songs & Stories @ Field Trial Barn
9p: Night Explorations Hike (Limit 30) - $5, please note no flashlights are allowed on this hike as we will be exploring our night time senses.
9p: Flashlight Hike
10:30p: Quiet Hours Begins

6:12a: Sunrise
6:30a: Self-Serve Breakfast
6:30-8: Quiet Hours Still in Effect
8-9a: Pack/Clean Up & Self-Directed Field Games
9a: Guided Hike @ Adventure Center

Parents/Adult Guardian must be present and remain with children at all times.
Bathrooms are available, though shower facilities are not. Camping equipment is not provided.
This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, we will move most activities inside, though some things will be altered/adapted.

Cost is $10 members/$15 non-members for individuals and $35 members/$40 nonmembers for family of four. Pre-registration is required.
