Greenway Member & Guest Update
Members and Guests,
Earlier this month, we made the difficult decision to close the Greenway trails, entrances and facilities. We realized, along with the surrounding community, that people need green space during these uncertain times. In the weeks prior to closure, we welcomed an unprecedented amount of visitors and guests to the Greenway. While we took numerous precautions to protect our staff, members, and the general public, the growing threat of the coronavirus caused us to take a step back to review our procedures as we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all.
We continue to watch the progression of the virus in our region, and are making plans to reopen when the time is right. One thing has become perfectly clear; reopening will bring with it a new set of policies and procedures in order to protect everyone on the back side of this pandemic. We are hoping to work through these issues over the next week and will communicate them as we prepare to reopen. Please know that while we are planning our opening, we will not be back to business as usual right away and we ask that you have patience with us. Our goal, above all else, is to open in a way that will allow members and guests the ability to get out and exercise on our trail system.
