Leroy Springs & Company Announces New Branding for its Non-Profit Portfolio, including Anne Springs Close Greenway, Leroy Springs Golf, Springmaid Mountain and FLYERS

The Anne Springs Close Greenway is excited to announce we have unveiled a new logo as part of a brand platform project by our larger Leroy Springs & Company organization. Representing our rich history in the region lasting more than eight decades, Leroy Springs & Co. embarked on a brand platform project more than two years ago to better identify ourselves in the community, connecting each of our lines of business, and adopting a cohesive look across our family of brands.

The Greenway has selected a mark that helps to symbolize the rich history of this special property, paying homage to our past while reaching the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts in this region.

Although our organization has evolved immensely since 1938, we still encompasses a dynamic non-profit portfolio of facilities and programs, including one of Charlotte’s Top 25 regional attractions, the 2,100-acre nature preserve, Anne Springs Close Greenway. Other facilities include the historic Leroy Springs golf courses, Lancaster (1939), Fort Mill (1948), Chester (1971), and Springfield (2001), as well as a mountain property acquired in 1983 in Spruce Pine, NC, Springmaid Mountain, which features cabins, camping and horseback riding. Leroy Springs & Co. is also the sole operator of afterschool programming (FLYERS Afterschool) in partnership with the Fort Mill School District, offering critical childcare opportunities for each Fort Mill elementary school (11 total), a program established in 1989 that has grown with the increasing demand of the district.

Today, Leroy Springs & Co. is focused on nurturing the resources endowed to the organization to ensure the community will be able to enjoy nature and recreation in perpetuity and that the legacy endures for years to come. With more than 460 full-time and part-time employees spread across four counties and two states, Leroy Springs & Co. works to create, develop, support, and act for the good of all communities in which we live and work, creating a reputation built upon a history of experience, reliability, dedication, and capabilities to instill trust. That trust comes from a shared history and leads to opportunities that drive the organization to continue to move the vision forward in its home region and beyond.

“We believe our visitors, customers, and supporters deserve high-quality, high-integrity programs and services from our experienced team,” explains John Gordon, CEO of Leroy Springs & Co. “As an organization, we are always looking forward, and this investment in our brand portfolio represents our focus on the future and commitment to building a stronger community in which we all benefit from quality, affordable recreation and education opportunities.”
