Love of Nature Runs Deep for Longtime Corporate Partner, Cygnus Asset Management

Over the last decade, the Anne Springs Close Greenway℠ has benefitted from the annual support of Cygnus Asset Management and Nathan Peterson (Partner), whose generous contributions stem from a deep love of nature, having grown up in Utah near Zion National Park. Nathan’s involvement locally includes participation in the Greenway’s Colonel’s Club, as a founding member of the men’s philanthropic and social club, as well as his colleague Adam Leach, Financial Advisor at Cygnus, who also serves on the Club’s Leadership Team. This leadership and commitment to philanthropy have been instrumental in strengthening the bond between Cygnus Asset Management and Anne Springs Close Greenway.

Cygnus has been a stalwart sponsor of the Greenway’s fundraising event, the Boil & Brew, which for the last several years has raised funds for the Greenway’s new Mountain Bike Skills Park – an offroad hub that provides a fun and challenging experience for riders of all skill levels.

“At Cygnus, we align ourselves with community partners that mirror our core values and are good stewards of the community,” said Peterson. “The Greenway embodies all that we hold dear in the preservation of one of Fort Mill’s most valuable resources – its natural green space to provide a safe and welcoming place for all to enjoy nature. We enjoy participating in the Summer Concert Series and Colonel’s Club, along with biking and running on the trails. It is a magical place to get lost in nature.”

Located at 6805 Carnegie Boulevard in Charlotte, Cygnus Asset Management provides a disciplined, team-oriented approach to investment management and financial planning while maintaining a commitment to giving back to the community through philanthropic projects.
