FORT MILL, S.C., May 23, 2018 - Join the Anne Springs Close Greenway in the celebration of National Trails Day on Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Guided hikes of varying distances and times will be offered throughout the day and will cover nearly every mile of the Greenway’s 40 miles of trails. Visitors of all ages are invited to join in a wide variety of additional activities like scavenger hunts, Leave No Trace games, crafts, and meet the reptiles.
Hikes will range in length from 1 mile to 9 miles. They will vary in intensity level, and all will be guided. To kick off the day, the Haigler Club will be guiding visitors on a trail clean up hike.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy self-guided mountain biking or horseback riding. They are also encouraged to use #FindYourGreenway18 to post photos and share how far they hiked and which trails they did.
