Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak. The cost for this program is by kayak, and is $15 for a single kayak and $20 for a tandem kayak which includes your kayak equipment and guide. Please register online. 9th through August 11: Saturday - Couch to 5k: 8:30 p.m.  - Rush Pavilion (2573 Lake Haigler Drive)

This 10 week program is designed for those who are just starting out running or are looking to get back into it after some time off. In particular it is geared for those who are looking for a support network to keep them motivated and having fun! We have two primary goals: 1) Help you complete a 5k at your own pace and 2) Help you learn to love running, which is why we will be spending time enjoying the beautiful trails at the Greenway – running along shady trails, splashing through creeks and walking past historic sites. We will provide a 10 week training program as well as a way for you to communicate with your fellow runners. Please remember that this program is at your pace and we can work with you to modify it so it fits you.
We will be hosting an orientation on Wednesday, June 6th. Please contact Sara Lee [email protected] with any questions.

While the dark can be intimidating to us as our sense of sight disappears, for our dogs it’s just a different world to explore! So gather up your dog, their leash and your hiking boots and join us for a canine pack walk. We will gather at the entrance of the dog park and then take a stroll around Archer’s loop taking in all the different night time smells (and maybe stopping for a quick pack howl!). At the end of our walk we will have a few minutes to play off leash in our dog park. Please note your dog MUST be dog and human friendly on and off leash to attend this hike. If you are not a member of the dog park you will need to provide proof of rabies/parvo/bordatella vaccinations. This program is $5 per dog, reservations required. Please note that non-members will also be required to pay $5 non-member entry fee at the gate.
