The Anne Springs Close Greenway's 2,100 acres of beautiful forests, lakes and trails provide all who visit with a unique opportunity for outdoor recreation. Just minutes outside of Charlotte, the Greenway gives visitors a chance to get active in the great outdooors by participating in seasonal yoga classes, kayaking on Lake Haigler, Couch to 5k, and much more.

Spring, Summer and Fall yoga are all offered on the Greenway. These yoga classes focus on bringing awareness to the mind, body, and breath through a variety of yoga poses at a gentle pace. Emphasis is on alignment and self-awareness for a safe practice. Develop and maintain strength, flexibility and balance for your health and well-being. All are welcome, from beginners to seasoned yogis!

This 10-week program, which runs in the summer and fall, is designed for those who are just starting out running or are looking to get back into it after some time off. In particular, it is geared toward those who are looking for a support network to keep them motivated and having fun! We have two primary goals: 1) help you complete a 5k at your own pace and 2) help you learn to love running, which is why we will be spending time enjoying the beautiful trails at the Greenway – running along shady trails, splashing through creeks and walking past historic sites. We will provide a 10-week training program as well as a way for you to communicate with your fellow runners.
