Offered throughout Spring and Fall, Group Lessons teach riders about horse care and horsemanship, including how to groom, bridle, saddle and basic riding techniques in a four-week lesson program. Classes for children 8 and older are available March to May and September through October on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00pm-5:00pm, 5:15pm-6:15pm or 6:30pm-7:30pm. Classes for children will begin on Monday, March 4. Classes for adults are held on Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Classes for adults will begin on Thursday, March 7.
Fee (per four lessons): Members $80, Non-Members $90

Private Lessons are offered to anyone ages 8 to adult** after the completion of at least one session of group lessons. Private lessons include English Riding discipline, knowledge about Tennessee Walking Horse gaits and increasingly difficult riding tasks for each progressing rider.
The lessons are taught by one of the Horse Barn instructors at a cost of $55 per one hour lesson. $5 discount for Greenway members. Limited availability.
Semi Private Lessons will be offered to anyone ages 8 to adult** after the completion of at least one session of group lessons. Semi Private Lessons will include both English and Western riding disciplines.
The lessons will be taught by one of the Horse Barn instructors at a cost of $50 per one-hour lesson. $5 discount for Greenway members. There may be up to 5 children in each lesson. Limited availability.
Riders must wear close-toed shoes. We recommend riders wear long pants. Riders are required to wear helmets, and the Anne Springs Close Greenway provides helmets.
