Regarding COVID-19

To our members, guests, and volunteers,
As you know, COVID-19, commonly known as Coronavirus, is a widespread concern for our community. As part of our commitment to the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and staff, we are closely monitoring the evolving situation and taking all necessary precautions.

What We Are Doing
Currently, we have not canceled any programs or planned events. Since there is not a major outbreak in our area or the State at present, we will make every effort to continue normal operations and events. We are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocols for hand washing, sanitizing, and enhanced cleaning.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are reviewing emergency response protocols and maintaining high standards for hygiene, sanitation, and overall cleanliness within our facilities. As always, we require that staff and volunteers who develop symptoms of any contagious illness, inform their supervisor immediately and not come in to work.
We are in regular contact with local officials and will continue to follow all guidelines recommended by the CDC and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control. Your health and safety are our priority.

What We Are Asking You To Do
Please take the same precautions you would take in any public space. We encourage everyone to read the CDC-recommended steps to prevent illness. If you are unwell, we are asking that you visit us another time.

Since its founding in 1995, the Anne Springs Close Greenway has been a place to connect to nature. Time spent outdoors is proven to reduce stress and increase a general feeling of well-being. In this time of uncertainty, we hope you will take advantage of all that the Greenway has to offer. If any developments occur that impact Greenway operations, we will do our best to keep you informed in a timely manner.

We appreciate your support.

Sincerely,
John Gordon,
Executive Director
