Summer Concert Series at Anne Springs Close Greenway Kick Off This Week
The Anne Springs Close Greenway’s popular Summer Concert Series returns May 2 and will run every Thursday night, May 2 through July 25. Entry begins at 5pm and on-site food and beverage options open at 5:30pm.
Concerts take place at the Comporium Amphitheater (291 Dairy Barn Lane, Fort Mill), a popular Greenway venue that features lawn-style seating beneath a shady tree canopy. Music begins at 6pm and ends by 9pm. This summer’s lineup features Terence Young Project (party band) on May 2; Dangermuffin (soulful groove rock) on May 9; Haley Mae & Caroline Keller (country) on May 16; Petty Rewind (Tom Petty tribute) on May 23; Party Parrot Band (Jimmy Buffett Tribute) on May 30; Of Good Nature (rock, soul, alternative, pop) on June 6; Tell Me Lies (Fleetwood Mac tribute) on June 13; Jake Haldenvang (rock, soul, R&B) on June 20; Smokey Jones & The 3 Dollar Pistols (country & southern rock) on June 27; Next Level Band of Charlotte (party band) on July 4; Time Sawyer (soulful folk rock) on July 11; Late Night Special (pop, rock, classic soul) on July 18; and The Hitmen (party band) on July 25.
“We are excited to kick-off the eleventh year of the Greenway’s Summer Concert Series. We have a fantastic line-up of talent, including several regional artists,” said Sara Lee, Assistant Operations Director for the Greenway. “These concerts offer more than just entertainment; they provide a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Greenway experience, while enjoying outstanding music.”
The scenic, family-friendly concert series appeals to a wide variety of music lovers. Each evening draws a large crowd ready for dance-worthy jams and beautiful sunset views on the Greenway. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. On-site food options, including weekly featured menu items and grab and go staples, as well as beer, wine and soda will also be available for purchase. No tents, glass or outside alcohol allowed.
Admission for non-members is $7 per adult, $5 ages 5-12. Members and children 4 and younger are free. There is a $5 per vehicle parking fee for all attendees. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
