AT ANNE SPRINGS CLOSE GREENWAY

Be Part of the Mission!

Gifts from donors and members help us continue to share our mission, care for our 2,100 acres and remain a community leader in education and conservation programming. In the coming months, Anne Springs Close Greenway will provide more opportunities for members and visitors to experience nature through the creation of the Crandall Bowles Children’s Farm, Schroering Forest Playground, a mountain bike skills park and an ADA-compliant Discovery Trail. Be part of our mission by contributing to the operation of these new features and help bring more people closer to nature.

Crandall Bowles Children's Farm

The Crandall Bowles Children's Farm will serve as an educational destination for families, field trips and animal lovers of all ages. Visitors will see ducks, alpacas, goats, horses and more while learning about South Carolina farming. Help support the care and upkeep of this new, hands-on learning opportunity.

Schroering Forest Playground

The Schroering Forest Playground will further the Greenway’s mission by uniting families with outdoor recreation opportunities for all ages. Created with sustainability and natural learning in mind, the Playground will provide children a place to play and explore nature for years to come.

ADA Discovery Trail

The new ADA Discovery Trail will provide approximately three miles of all-weather hard surface. It will give visitors greater accessibility to enjoy the natural beauty of the Greenway. Abundant wildlife and birdwatching, along with native wildflowers, will be explored on this smooth, scenic trail.

Mountain Bike Skills Park

Our forthcoming youth mountain bike skills track will serve to provide a fun, safe and equitable space for budding off-road cyclists. The track will include a variety of obstacles to practice skills necessary for riding trails. The park will add to the portfolio of activities available on the Greenway, contributing to a comprehensive and unique outdoor recreation experience.

Mary Warner Mack Dog Park Improvements

The Mary Warner Mack Dog Park provides a natural space for dogs of all sizes to play and socialize. Providing a unique setting for dog lovers to spend time with their pets, the park has become one of the best in the region.  Entering its 9th year in 2024, the Dog Park is ready for some updates and renovations. Your gift will help us maintain our "best in show" status.

Anne Springs Close Bridge Program

With these new capital projects, the Anne Springs Close Greenway is committed to connecting even more people to nature through recreational and educational activities that foster a passion for the outdoors. A gift to the Anne Springs Close Bridge Program helps us fulfill that mission by providing access to those who may face a financial hardship.
