Guardians of the Greenway
The Guardians of the Greenway help to provide for the permanent care of the Anne Springs Close Greenway’s thousands of trees, half dozen ponds, several miles of watershed, as well as hundreds of acres of forests and pastures. Native tree species from the Southern Red Oak to the Shagbark Hickory have thrived here for generations, helping contribute to the paramount role that this land plays in maintaining a healthy watershed and ecosystem for our region.
The Guardians of the Greenway help to ensure the Greenway’s forests, pastures, lakes and streams remain healthy, strong and well maintained in this shared 2,100 acre backyard. Caring for our acres supports the health of our region.
The Guardians of the Greenway program offers recognition opportunities at varying contribution levels. For important milestones, make a gift in support of the Anne Springs Close Greenway’s Endowment and create a living memory that will last for generations to come. Many donors choose to make a contribution as a gift in honor or memory of someone, or to celebrate a joyous occasion.
All gifts made through the Guardians of the Greenway will support the Greenway’s Endowment. For gifts of $500 and above, you or the person you are honoring will receive a commemorative certificate.
