We provide opportunities for recreation, entertainment, education and fitness on over 2,100 acres.

Kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding are popular activities at the Greenway. Bring your own or rent one on Lake Haigler! You can always hike the popular Haigler Loop (1.1 mi) and don't forget to stop and see the Spillway along the way.

The Greenway Stables are home to more than 130 horses. Sign up for lessons, summer camp, trail rides and more!

Driving Directions to the Lake Haigler Entrance*:

From I-77

Take I-77 to exit 85 / Hwy 160 exit heading East toward Fort Mill. Go 1 mile from I-77 to traffic light at Highway 21 BYPASS. Turn left at light and proceed 1.5 miles. Entrance to the Anne Springs Close Greenway will be on the right. The Nature Center is to the left at the end of the access road; the Rush Pavilion is to the right.

From Ballantyne/Lancaster

From Hwy 521 take Hwy 160 West 5 miles toward Fort Mill. Turn right on Springfield Parkway and travel approximately 5 miles to traffic light at Hwy 21 Bypass. Turn left at light and proceed 1 mile. Entrance to the Anne Springs Close Greenway is on the left. The Nature Center is to the left at the end of the access road; the Rush Pavilion is to the right.

Take I-77 exit 88 / Gold Hill Road exit. Turn East off the exit. Continue on Springfield Parkway 2 miles. Drive past lights at Springfield schools and turn right at next light onto Old Nation Rd / Highway 21 BUSINESS. Turn right onto Dairy Barn Lane.

From Ballantyne/Lancaster

From Hwy 521 take Hwy 160 West 5 miles toward Fort Mill. Turn right onto Springfield Parkway and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left on Old Nation Road/Hwy 21 Bus. Turn right on Dairy Barn Lane.

Take I-77 exit 88 / Gold Hill Road heading East toward Fort Mill. Road changes to Springfield Parkway. Travel 3.3 miles from I-77. You will see a sign for the Anne Springs Close Greenway on the right across from the Springfield development. Turn in and proceed to red Field Trial Barn; the Adventure Center is on the right.

From Ballantyne/Lancaster

From Hwy 521 take Hwy 160 West 5 miles toward Fort Mill. Turn right on Springfield Parkway and travel approximately 2 miles. You will see a sign for the Anne Springs Close Greenway on the left across from the Springfield development. Turn in and proceed to the red Field Trial Barn; the Adventure Center is on the right.

From I-77

Take I-77 exit 85 and travel East toward Fort Mill on Hwy 160. Horse Road is approximately 0.5 mile past The Peach Stand on the left. Turn in and follow the road to the left 0.5 mile to the parking area.

From Ballantyne/Lancaster

From Hwy 521 take Hwy 160 West into the Town of Fort Mill for approximately 7 miles. Horse Road is on the right, just ¼ mile past US Hwy 21 Business / Old Nation Road.

Driving Directions to the Complex Trailhead:

971 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill SC 29715

From I-77

Take I-77 exit 88 / Gold Hill Road exit. Turn Left off of the exitt. Continue on Springfield Parkway 5.4 miles. Turn Right on to Tom Hall Street. The YMCA Complex will be on the Right in about .2 miles. Trailhead is located behind the Complex - park in back parking lot.

From Ballantyne/Lancaster

From Hwy 521, head Northwest on Ballantyne Commons Parkway. Turn Left on to Lancaster Hwy. Turn Right on to Providence Rd W. Continue on to Barberville road. Turn Right on to SC-160 W and the Recration Complex will be on your right.

From I-77

Take I-77 exit 88 / Gold Hill Road heading East toward Fort Mill. Road changes to Springfield Parkway. Travel 3.3 miles from I-77. You will see a sign for the Anne Springs Close Greenway on the right across from the Springfield development. Turn in and proceed past Welcome Station. Turn right at intersection towards the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park. Park in parking lot (handicap parking is available).
