Fresh Air Hour

Breathe in the beauty of the Greenway during Fresh Air Hour! Join us at the Lake Haigler Entrance on the first Thursday of the month from 5:30-8:00pm for an evening of free access to explore and enjoy all the Greenway has to offer.

Bring friends and family to soak in the scenery, enjoy open-mic tunes and treat yourself to food and beverage specials at the Canteen. Whether you’re here for the trails, the sips or the tasty bites, it’s the perfect chance to see why our members call this place home.

No membership? No problem! Fresh Air Hour is open to non-members at no cost (Lake Haigler entrance only during event hours). Come experience the Greenway – your gateway to nature, community, and connection. We hope you’ll fall in love with the Greenway and consider joining us as a member!

FAQ

What are Loyalty Rewards?
Sign up for Loyalty Rewards to receive a point for every dollar spent at the Greenway Canteen. Receive a sign-up bonus of 25 points to start.

Do you accept reservations?
All of our seating is first come, first serve and reservations are not accepted. If you would like to host a party or event with us, please email our events team at venues@ascgreenway.org.

Do you serve alcohol?
Yes, we offer alcoholic beverages (beer, seltzer, wine and liquor) for patrons ages 21 and older to enjoy responsibly.

May I bring my own food?
No outside food or drinks are allowed at Greenway Canteen chairs and tables, which includes inside and out. If you would like to host an event with catering or large food platters, please reach out to our events team for policies and coordination via venues@ascgreenway.org. Please note that coolers are not permitted at most of our special events, including small and large concerts. Here are our favorite spots for picnicking at Anne Springs Close Greenway^℠!

May I bring my dog?
Yes! Leashed, well-mannered dogs are always welcome at our outdoor areas. Guests may not bring their dog indoors and are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Any guests with an off-leash dog will be asked to leave the premises for the safety of their pet & other guests.

Are you family friendly?
Yes. We aim to please guests of all ages and offer a children’s menu.

Do you offer table service?
No. Please order food at the counter and return to pick up food when it is ready. During busy hours, we may request your cell phone number so that you may receive a text message when your food is ready for pick up.

Does your outdoor seating have cover?
Yes and no. Some of our patio seating is covered; however, seating on the Domtar Forest Porch is not covered.

May I bring my own chairs or blankets to sit on?
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring portable chairs and blankets. Please no tents.

May I play background music on my own device?
To ensure a wonderful experience for all guests, we do not allow for guests to play amplified music on their own devices while visiting.

Are you ADA accessible?
Yes. We have accessible seating and facilities available. Please note that our main parking area is gravel.

Can I rent space for a private event?
Yes. We offer a number of on-site venues and offer catering for various events. Please review the options on our Venues page, and reach out to us with any questions or for booking.
